On Saturday, 18th October, the Nextars movement the Nextars movement continued to make waves in youth empowerment with an impactful activation at Trinity College Nabbingo, held hand in hand with Reach A Hand Uganda’s GN Trybe, under the Brave Girls initiative.
The activation fused Nextars’ signature energy with the mentorship-driven approach of GN Trybe, creating an inspiring experience for students — especially young women — to embrace confidence, creativity, and leadership.
Nextars: A Movement Beyond Mentorship
The Nextars movement has established itself as a force that not only empowers but also amplifies young voices. Like GN Trybe, it focuses on mentorship and inspiration — but Nextars goes even further by bridging youth to media, entertainment, and real-world opportunities through its mother brand, NBS Plus. At Trinity College Nabbingo, this difference was felt. Through music, interactive talks, and live sessions, the Nextars crew encouraged students to explore their talents, engage with the creative industry, and see media as a space for expression and empowerment.
Hand in Hand with GN Trybe
The activation, conducted in partnership with Reach A Hand Uganda’s GN Trybe, aligned with the Brave Girls initiative, which seeks to inspire girls to be bold, informed, and self-assured. Together, both teams created a vibrant afternoon that merged entertainment and education, showing how collaboration can deepen impact.
While GN Trybe focuses on mentorship and life skills, Nextars brings a broader edge, merging storytelling, technology, and youth media to give young people platforms that extend beyond the classroom.
Building a Generation of Brave Voices
Speaking after the activation, the Nextars team emphasized that the movement is not just about discovery, but transformation.
The event featured lively engagement, performances, and mentorship moments that left the Brave Girls of Nabbingo inspired, informed, and ready to dream bigger.
The Nextars school tour continues to travel across Uganda, redefining how youth empowerment is experienced through music, mentorship, and media visibility.
